On the occasion of her solo exhibition at KÖNIG in Berlin, SOFT CRUSH, in 2020, Mona Ardeleanu designed a silk scarf using a motif from one of her intricate paintings featured in the show. Here, the flattened representation takes on a new form as a wearable fabric, in which the folds and shading of the original image are brought to life in this unique edition, handmade in Italy. Of course, the scarf can also be displayed as a hung object, referring back to the original creation that spawned its design, decorating any surrounding with its lush detail of cerulean florals and alabaster whites.
